MetroCloud ("MetroCloud", "we", "us") provides VPS/VDS rental, dedicated server rental and sales of server hardware. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you register we collect your name, email address and billing details required to provide the service, process payments and arrange delivery of purchased hardware.
Delivery information. For physical server purchases we additionally collect a delivery address and phone number, used solely to ship the equipment.
Technical data. Log data (IP address, browser, timestamps of logins) required for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. We do not access, analyse or sell the content you host on your servers.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the service;
- To process payments and manage your services;
- To arrange delivery of purchased server hardware;
- To send service-related notices (invoices, security alerts, planned maintenance);
- To respond to support requests.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with: (a) payment processors, to the extent needed to process your payment; (b) delivery carriers, to the extent needed to deliver purchased hardware; (c) legal authorities when required by applicable law.
4. Data retention
Your account data is stored while your account is active. After account termination, data is retained for 30 days to allow recovery, then permanently deleted.
5. Security
We use TLS encryption for data in transit, isolated account storage and regular security updates. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time via the Client Area or by contacting us.
